Makeup By Cherise

Cherise and I went to high school together. About a year ago I found out she was going to FIT for fashion and makeup. Since then we have been trying to get together and do a shoot. We were finally able to do that this summer. Here are some head shots from our first shoot. I look forward to working with Cherise more as we both become more experienced and continue our careers.

Heart Shaped Box

This wooden box was hand crafted by my uncle. This particular piece is not for sale. It was a gift for his wife on her birthday. He does have many other boxes for sale so if you would like one of your own please email me: jcphoto5@live.com

Each box my uncle creates is unique. No two boxes have the same design or pattern. They each are made from different types of woods and stained differently.

Along with custom wooden boxes my uncle also makes many other works of art from wood. One piece in particular would amaze anyone. A three foot tall kaleidoscope which, except for the colored glass, is constructed completely from wood. Another impressive piece he is currently working on is a chess board and pieces. Each Chess piece is being hand carved with intricate details. The board itself is built on a small table with each side having its own castle towers and drawer for pieces. The board itself is constructed so that each space is made to look as though it is floating above the wooden slab connecting the two sides.
