About Me

Jean-Claude Levasseur has been passionately engaged in photography since early 2006. Continually seeking to further challenge and expand his creativity and skills, Jean-Claude completed college courses in many areas of photography. His works have won various awards and honors in both the Phoenix Arts Gallery and the Brookhaven Arts and Humanities Council. In June of 2010 Jean-Claude received his Associates Degree in Computer Art from SUNY Suffolk County Community College. During the summer of 2010 he again advanced his knowledge and expertise in photography while interning under the instruction of Nick Vedros and associate photographer Gabe Hopkins. In September of 2011 Jean-Claude began attending Rochester Institute of Technology where he once more heightened his knowledge of photography. Upon his graduation in 2013 he will have earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts with a concentration in Advertising Photography. Jean-Claude is creative, self-motivated, and hard working. His persistent and acute attention to detail make him an excellent candidate for your photography needs. Available for Freelance work in the New York and Tri-State area.
