Hydroxygen

A while ago I worked with Meryl Vedros to photograph her latest product design. Here is what she has to say about her project and some photos to go along with it. Each box is is designed with different information about hydration on it. The bottles come in two sizes (16oz or 32oz). The bottles are designed so that the text on each side is legible through the bottled water on the other side.  Hope you all learn something and enjoy the images.

"Hydroxygen explores the health benefits water has to offer as a cure for the symptoms of dehydration. As a nation we rely too heavily on chemical alternatives which cause horrible side effects and pollute both the environment and our bodies. I have developed the product Hydroxygen to educate the public about the importance of hydration by designing medical bottles to drink tap water from. Dehydration is a very serious problem today for more than 60% of Americans whose hydration remains below the medically recommended levels.  Complex pharmaceutical solutions are costly and temporary at best. Water requires no additives or modification to the pure natural chemistry of H2O all by itself."
